Purchase Executive – Adam Design Studio LLP
Adam Design Studio LLP, an interior design firm based in Kochi, is looking for a Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of materials required for our interior projects.
The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the purchasing of materials required for interior projects.
- Source materials from reliable vendors at competitive prices.
- Collect and compare supplier quotations.
- Negotiate prices, quality, and delivery terms with vendors.
- Coordinate with the design, estimation, and site teams for material requirements.
- Place purchase orders and maintain proper purchase records.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Check received materials for quantity, quality, and specifications.
- Maintain vendor details, invoices, and purchase documents.
- Monitor material costs and help control project expenses.
- Coordinate with the accounts team regarding supplier bills and payments.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in the interior.
- Knowledge of interior materials such as plywood, laminates, hardware, electrical items, sanitary items, fittings, etc.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project requirements and meet deadlines.
