Job summary
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to manage our brand’s presence across social media platforms and drive meaningful engagement with our audience. The role involves creating and executing social media strategies, producing and managing content, monitoring performance, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and achievement of marketing goals.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with overall business and marketing objectives.
- Plan and manage the content calendar (posts, stories, reels, campaigns) across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others as relevant.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content (text, images, video, and other formats) tailored to each platform and audience.
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond promptly and professionally to build community and improve customer experience.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools (reach, engagement, followers, clicks, conversions) and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Coordinate with marketing, design, sales, and HR (for employer branding) to ensure consistent brand messaging and cohesive campaigns.
- Identify trends, hashtags, influencers, and platform features to keep the brand’s presence current and competitive.
- Manage paid social campaigns (boosted posts, ads) in coordination with the marketing team, including basic budget tracking.
- Ensure all social media content follows brand guidelines, is legally compliant, and reflects the company’s values.
- Propose and execute social media contests, collaborations, and other engagement initiatives to grow the audience and strengthen brand loyalty.
Required qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand, agency, or organization.
- Strong understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) and their best practices.
- Ability to create and curate engaging content; basic copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn analytics, or similar).
- Good understanding of digital marketing concepts such as reach, impressions, engagement rate, and conversions.
- Excellent communication skills and a creative mindset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple platforms and campaigns simultaneously.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
