Senior Multi-Cloud Architect / DevOps
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Multi-Cloud Architect with strong DevOps expertise to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native platforms across multiple cloud providers. The ideal candidate will lead cloud architecture strategy, enable DevOps best practices, and work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to drive digital transformation.
This role requires deep hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud, modern DevOps toolchains, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native application architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Strategy
Design and lead multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures ensuring high availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency
Define cloud reference architectures, standards, and best practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tools, and architectural patterns aligned with business goals
Drive cloud modernization initiatives, including application migration, re-platforming, and cloud-native adoption
DevOps & Platform Engineering
Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, testing, and deployment
Enable DevOps, GitOps, and SRE practices across engineering teams
Design and manage containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift, etc.)
Security, Reliability & Governance
Embed security-by-design principles including IAM, secrets management, encryption, and network security
Collaborate with security teams on DevSecOps, compliance, and cloud governance frameworks
Ensure solutions meet availability, DR, backup, and resilience requirements
Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a technical leader and mentor for cloud and DevOps engineers
Partner with product owners, developers, infrastructure, and security teams
Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical guidance for complex initiatives
Support pre-sales, solution design, and client-facing technical discussions (if applicable)
Skill Requirements
Cloud & Architecture
10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in cloud architecture
Strong hands-on experience with at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Expertise in designing multi-cloud and hybrid architectures
Solid understanding of networking concepts: VPC/VNet, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs
Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices
DevOps & Automation
Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Other Requirements
Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Architect)
Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS)
Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and APIs
Exposure to serverless architectures
Prior experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments
