- Operational Management: Ensuring the smooth daily functioning of the facility, including managing patient flow, scheduling, and optimizing departmental procedures.
- Staffing and HR: Hiring, training, and managing medical and administrative personnel, including creating schedules and managing grievances.
- Financial Management: Preparing and managing budgets, overseeing billing, managing inventory costs, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all healthcare laws, safety standards (such as OSHA), and government regulations (like HIPAA).
- Quality Improvement: Developing policies to improve patient care, quality of services, and patient satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning: Setting goals for the facility, overseeing expansion or new service implementation, and adapting to technological advancements.
