In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our design and development teams to validate and verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and constantly improving our testing processes. As a Senior Year Test Engineer, you will also have the chance to mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product specifications and requirements
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate product functionality, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and report any issues or defects found during testing
- Work closely with the design and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure the highest quality of our products
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing techniques and technologies
- Communicate test results and progress to project stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, preferably in a senior or lead role
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Passion for quality and attention to detail
