Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee the maintenance of books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review trial balance, balance sheet, profit & loss account, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely financial reporting to management.
- Monitor financial performance of hospital and educational institutions.
2. Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets for hospital, medical college, nursing college, pharmacy college, hostels, and support services.
- Monitor budget utilization and variance analysis.
- Develop financial forecasts and projections.
- Advise management on financial planning and resource allocation.
- Support strategic business decisions through financial analysis.
3. Hospital Revenue Management
- Monitor revenue generated from:
- OPD Services
- IPD Services
- ICU Services
- Operation Theatres
- Diagnostic Services
- Pharmacy
- Corporate Billing
- Insurance Billing
- Government Schemes
- Cash Patients
- Review daily collection reports.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition and reconciliation.
- Analyze department-wise profitability.
4. Government Healthcare Scheme Management
- Monitor receivables and claims related to:
- Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)
- Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY)
- ECHS
- CGHS
- ESIC
- State Government Schemes
- Ensure timely submission and reconciliation of claims.
- Monitor outstanding receivables.
- Coordinate with billing and medical records departments.
5. Costing & Financial Analysis
- Conduct department-wise cost analysis.
- Calculate cost per bed, cost per patient, and cost per procedure.
- Monitor manpower costs and operational expenses.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Prepare management information system (MIS) reports.
6. Medical College Finance Management
- Monitor tuition fee collections and student receivables.
- Review scholarship accounts and government grants.
- Manage financial reporting for academic institutions.
- Ensure compliance with university and regulatory financial requirements.
- Support admissions and fee structure planning.
7. Taxation & Statutory ComplianceDirect Taxes
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax Act provisions.
- Review TDS deductions and deposits.
- Prepare and verify TDS returns.
- Coordinate income tax assessments.
Indirect Taxes
- Monitor GST compliance.
- Review GST returns and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns.
- Handle GST audits and notices.
8. Audit ManagementInternal Audit
- Coordinate internal audits.
- Implement audit recommendations.
- Strengthen financial controls.
Statutory Audit
- Coordinate statutory auditors.
- Provide required documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of audits.
Regulatory Audits
- Coordinate audits by:
- Government agencies
- Funding bodies
- Accreditation organizations
9. Treasury & Fund Management
- Monitor cash flow requirements.
- Manage banking relationships.
- Review fund utilization.
- Ensure adequate liquidity for operational requirements.
- Monitor investments and fixed deposits.
10. Accounts Receivable Management
- Monitor outstanding receivables.
- Review ageing analysis.
- Coordinate recovery efforts.
- Ensure timely collection from:
- Insurance companies
- TPAs
- Corporate clients
- Government schemes
- Students
11. Accounts Payable Management
- Review vendor payments.
- Monitor payment schedules.
- Ensure statutory deductions.
- Verify procurement-related payments.
- Maintain healthy vendor relationships.
12. Compliance & Risk Management
- Establish financial controls and SOPs.
- Identify financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prevent revenue leakage and financial fraud.
- Support institutional accreditation requirements.
13. ERP & Financial Systems Management
- Supervise finance modules of Hospital ERP and College ERP systems.
- Ensure accurate financial data integration.
- Develop financial dashboards and MIS reports.
- Improve automation and reporting systems.
- Educational Qualifications Chartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- Experience in:
- Large multispecialty hospitals (500+ beds)
- Medical colleges
- Healthcare institutions
- Educational trusts and societies
- Experience handling annual budgets exceeding ₹300–500 Crores preferred.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
