We're Hiring: PCB Design Engineer (Fresher / 0–1 Year Experience)
Location: Jalandhar, Punjab (Work From Office)
DigitalMonk is looking for a passionate PCB Design Engineer to join our embedded systems team. If you enjoy electronics, circuit design, and building real hardware products, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Design schematic and multi-layer PCBs for embedded and IoT products.
- Create component libraries and footprints.
- Prepare manufacturing files (Gerber, BOM, Pick & Place).
- Work closely with firmware and hardware engineers.
- Debug hardware and assist during prototype bring-up.
- Support PCB assembly and testing.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, ECE, EEE, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in PCB design.
- Knowledge of electronic components and circuit fundamentals.
- Familiarity with at least one PCB design software such as KiCad, EasyEDA, Altium Designer, or Eagle.
- Basic understanding of microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, Arduino, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to read datasheets and reference designs.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing power supplies or mixed-signal PCBs.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Basic soldering and hardware debugging skills.
- Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
