Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Placement Executive to bridge the gap between our talented students/candidates and potential employers. In this role, you will be responsible for corporate outreach, building and maintaining strong relationships with HR professionals, organizing campus recruitment drives, and mentoring candidates to enhance their employability.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a knack for networking, a strong understanding of current market hiring trends, and a passion for helping individuals launch their careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Relations & Business Development:
- Actively network, cold-call, and pitch to corporate clients, tech companies, and startups to secure placement and internship opportunities.
- Maintain and expand a robust database of corporate recruiters, HR managers, and industry professionals.
- Understand industry hiring requirements and align them with the institute's candidate pool.
- Placement Coordination & Execution:
- End-to-end management of campus placement drives, pool campus events, and virtual recruitment processes.
- Coordinate with company HR teams to schedule pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, and interviews.
- Manage documentation, including job descriptions, offer letters, and candidate tracking spreadsheets.
- Candidate Training & Mentorship:
- Guide and counsel students/candidates regarding career paths, resume building, and interview preparation.
- Organize mock interviews, soft-skills training sessions, and workshops to improve candidate conversion rates.
- Assess candidates' strengths and weaknesses to align them with the right job profiles.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of placement statistics, student profiles, and recruiter feedback.
- Prepare periodic reports on placement progress, conversion ratios, and market trends for the management team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field (MBA/PGDM in HR or Marketing is a plus).
- Experience: [1–3 years] of experience in corporate relations, recruitment, staffing, or placement coordination within an educational institute or training academy.
- Key Competencies:
- Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to confidently pitch to C-level executives and HR heads.
- Networking Skills: A proven ability to build trust and maintain long-term professional relationships.
- Organization: High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage chaotic placement seasons smoothly.
- Tech Savviness: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), LinkedIn Recruiter, and CRM/Placement portal software.
