Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development & Operations Manager who can drive sales, develop strategic partnerships, improve operations, and lead a growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who enjoys building businesses rather than simply managing existing operations.
Key Responsibilities - Business Development
- Generate new B2B and corporate clients.
- Develop partnerships for travel, logistics, courier, and IT services.
- Meet monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Build long-term relationships with key customers.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across business divisions.
- Improve efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor KPIs and implement performance improvements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and service partners.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate staff.
- Set individual and team performance targets.
- Conduct regular review meetings and performance evaluations.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
Marketing & Growth
- Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns and lead generation.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Recommend new services and expansion strategies.
Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly business performance reports.
- Monitor sales pipeline, operational performance, and customer feedback.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or operations.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred:
- Travel & Tourism
- Logistics & Freight
- Courier & Delivery Services
- IT or Digital Services
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings.
