We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Spare Parts Assistant to support the daily operations of the spare parts department. The candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, issuing and receiving spare parts, maintaining stock records, and assisting customers or technicians with spare parts requirements. Freshers with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply, while experienced candidates should have knowledge of inventory management and spare parts handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store spare parts in an organized manner.
- Issue spare parts to technicians, customers, or service departments as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist in preparing purchase requests for low-stock items.
- Ensure proper labeling, shelving, and storage of spare parts.
- Verify incoming and outgoing spare parts against invoices and delivery notes.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the spare parts store.
- Coordinate with the purchase and service departments for stock availability.
- Assist in periodic stock verification and inventory audits.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
EligibilityFreshers
- Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel and MS Office).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn inventory and store operations.
Experienced Candidates
- 1–3+ years of experience in spare parts, stores, inventory, or warehouse operations.
- Experience in automobile, machinery, industrial equipment, or service centers is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory software or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong stock management and documentation skills.
