Job Description:
Engineer for Power Transmission & Distribution for design engineering of HV & EHV AIS & GIS substations up to 765kV, Renewable projects etc. at various locations. Shall be able to do detailed designs of Substations switchyard and HV System. Knowledge in substation engineering Specification and Standard (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, IS etc.)
Role Overview:
Shall be responsible for complete internal and external projects co-ordination till projects completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of Single line diagram, Switchyard GA drawing, Erection key Diagram, clearance diagram and detailed technical specification for all switchyard equipment for the AIS & GIS upto 765kV.- Design of DSLP, Sag Calculation, Cable Sizing, Battery & Battery charger, CT-VT sizing with knee point voltage calculation.
- Substation Earthing Calculation as per Standard, Earthing conductor sizing and earth mat design.
- Short-circuit force calculation and conductor sizing.
- Preparation of Cable trench layout, Earthing layout, DSLP layout.
- Load calculation of AC & DC.
- Preparation of LT SLD, Cable schedule (Power and Control) & CRB Room Panel arrangement layout.
- Preparation of Tender BOQ estimation and support to Tender team.
- Shall be able to understand MV Panel and control relay panel drawing /schematics.
- Equipment drawing reviews and coordination with vendors.
- Visit to Clint office of site for technical discussion.
Qualifications and Experience:
B.E/B.Tech In Electrical & Electronics with 7 to 10 years of work experience with Substation Design.
