Job description:
- Verify CPT/ICD-10 codes, modifiers, and units from superbills against patient accounts.
- Review EOB/ERA postings to ensure payments, contractual adjustments, and write-offs are accurate.
- Maintain daily quality scorecards and report error trends to management.
- Provide one-on-one feedback to process executives to reduce recurring errors.
- Ensure all entries comply with payer-specific rules and internal SOPs.
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years in US Medical Billing (specifically Charge Entry ).
- Minimum 2 years in a Quality Audit role preferred.
- Must understand CPT/ICD-10 coding basics and be able to read EOBs/ERAs (denial codes).
- Proficiency in Excel and US billing software (e.g., NextGen, Tebra, ECW, AdvancedMD, Kareo).
- Must be willing to work from office in Phase 8B, Mohali.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Good communication skills for feedback.
