Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admissions Counselor role based in Patiala. The Admissions Counselor will advise prospective students on suitable programs, explain admission requirements, and guide them through the application and enrollment process. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries via in-person meetings, phone, and email, conducting consultations, and maintaining accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions status. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and partner institutions, assisting with information sessions or events, and meeting targets related to student recruitment and conversion. The Admissions Counselor is expected to provide a positive, supportive experience to each prospective learner while representing Edumistic’s values and services.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to engage effectively with prospective students and families.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide clear, empathetic support throughout the admissions process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, conduct follow-ups, and convert inquiries into successful enrollments in a professional and ethical manner.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, such as familiarity with academic programs, admission processes, and educational pathways.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related field preferred; comparable experience in admissions or counseling roles will be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Patiala, manage multiple inquiries simultaneously, and meet admissions and conversion targets.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or student management systems) and accurate record keeping.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and a learner-focused mindset; fluency in English and local languages is an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
