Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance
- Reconcile showroom sales with cash, bank deposits, POS transactions, and digital payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable/payable and ensure timely collections and payments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Inventory & Gold Accounting
- Maintain proper accounting of gold stock, jewelry, ornaments, and precious stones.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and highlight discrepancies.
- Track wastage, making charges, hallmarking charges, and other costs.
- Ensure compliance with gold purity standards, barcoding, and inventory valuation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or jewellery/gold sector.
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP accounting software.
- Good understanding of inventory control and taxation in the gold/jewelry business.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
