We are seeking a dynamic Civil Designer/Drafter to join our innovative engineering team! Responsibilities
- Develop detailed civil design drawings, schematics, and plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or ArchiCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Create 3D models and visualizations utilizing SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, or 3ds Max to enhance project presentations and design clarity.
- Prepare construction documents, including technical details, grading plans, drainage layouts, and site layouts that meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts into precise drafting outputs.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring all designs comply with safety standards and client requirements.
- Assist in system design projects related to infrastructure or mechanical components using SolidWorks or similar tools.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document review, markups, and efficient management of project files during the drafting process.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar platforms for drafting and modeling.
- Experience with 3D modeling tools including Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, or 3ds Max for visualization purposes.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles related to grading, drainage, construction practices, and schematic development.
- Knowledge of graphic design techniques applicable to presentation drawings and project documentation.
- Familiarity with construction processes and the ability to produce clear technical schematics for field implementation.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings while maintaining attention to detail in all work outputs.
