Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with experience in turnkey interior projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in space planning, concept development, working drawings, material selection, and project coordination. The role requires close collaboration with clients, architects, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative space planning and layout options based on client requirements.
- Understand client needs and translate them into functional and aesthetically appealing interior designs.
- Create concept presentations, mood boards, and design proposals.
- Prepare detailed working drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling layouts, electrical layouts, and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D designs and coordinate with rendering teams using SketchUp and 3ds Max.
- Research and finalize materials, finishes, laminates, veneers, wallpapers, fabrics, and other interior products within project budgets.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity estimations, material specifications, and area statements.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, contractors, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend project meetings, prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOM), and maintain project documentation.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings.
- Update drawings based on site conditions and client feedback.
- Maintain project records, material libraries, vendor databases, and site documentation.
- Track project schedules and coordinate with internal teams for timely completion.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Residential, Commercial, or Turnkey Interior Projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3ds Max.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, interior detailing, material selection, and site execution.
- Experience in preparing BOQs and working drawings.
- Good understanding of furniture detailing and interior construction.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations whenever required.
