Job Summary
Krishna Hospital & Research Foundation is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is AERB RSO Level-II certified and holds a B.Sc / M.Sc in Nuclear Medicine Technology (or equivalent recognized qualification).
The candidate will be responsible for supporting diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET-CT and SPECT imaging, while ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety standards and hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Handle and administer radiopharmaceuticals as per physician instructions and established protocols
- Operate SPECT, Gamma Camera, and other Nuclear Medicine imaging systems
- Support PET-CT and advanced imaging procedures where applicable
- Acquire high-quality diagnostic images ensuring accuracy and patient safety
- Monitor patients during procedures and manage any technical or clinical issues
- Ensure strict compliance with AERB radiation safety regulations and hospital protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, scans, and patient records
- Ensure safe storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
- Perform routine equipment quality checks and report technical issues promptly
- Coordinate with Nuclear Medicine Physicians, Radiologists, Medical Physicists, and Oncology teams
- Maintain departmental cleanliness, safety, and operational standards
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory)
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent recognized qualification
- Valid AERB RSO Level-II certification (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience in Nuclear Medicine imaging (PET-CT / SPECT preferred)
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and AERB guidelines
- Valid registration where applicable
