Job Overview:
We are looking for a patient, observant, and child-centered Montessori-Based Teacher to facilitate learning for young children. The role focuses on guiding children through hands-on, self-directed activities while fostering independence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Montessori philosophy and methods in the classroom
- Prepare and maintain a structured, child-friendly environment
- Present Montessori materials and guide children in self-paced learning
- Observe each child and support their individual learning journey
- Encourage independence, concentration, and discipline
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities (language, math, practical life, sensorial)
- Maintain progress records and observation notes
- Collaborate with co-teachers and support staff
- Communicate regularly with parents about child progress
- Ensure a calm, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
Requirements:
- Certification/Diploma in Montessori Education (AMI/AMS or equivalent preferred)
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience working with early years (Pre-primary/Sr. KG)
- Strong understanding of child development and Montessori principles
- Good communication skills (English + Hindi/Marathi preferred)
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with mixed-age groups
- Exposure to neurodiverse learners
- Ability to blend Montessori with activity-based or alternative learning methods
- Strong observation and classroom management skills
