Job Purpose
The HoReCa Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by expanding our footprint in the B2B hospitality sector. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, securing contracts with key hospitality accounts, and managing relationships with chefs, procurement managers, and major food service distributors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Account Acquisition
- Identify and acquire new B2B accounts across hotels, restaurants, café chains, cloud kitchens, and corporate caterers.
- Conduct product tastings, presentations, and live demonstrations tailored to chefs, F&B managers, and mixologists.
- Negotiate pricing structure, commercial terms, and close high-value annual contracts.
2. Relationship & Key Account Management
- Maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, including executive chefs, procurement managers, and operations heads.
- Ensure high client retention by offering exceptional customer service, managing feedback, and troubleshooting delivery bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to introduce customized items or seasonal offerings.
3. Distributor & Channel Management
- Appoint and manage specialized HoReCa distributors to guarantee seamless product availability and secondary sales fulfilment.
- Monitor collection efficiency and ensure strict adherence to company credit and payment timelines.
4. Strategy, Reporting & Team Leadership
- Formulate hyper-local sales strategies based on competitor activity and food service trends.
- Track monthly sales targets, volumes, and market penetration metrics.
- Mentor and manage junior sales executives, conducting regular market reviews and performance tracking [Include if managing a team].
Skills & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management. An MBA is a plus.
- Experience: [5 to 7 years] of core sales experience in the FMCG / Food & Beverage / Liquor / Frozen Food industry, with at least [3+ years] strictly handling the HoReCa channel.
- Network: An existing, active network of contacts among local chefs, F&B directors, and institutional buyers is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, CRM tracking tools, and sales forecasting software.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
