Job Brief
We are searching for a customer-oriented Receptionist to oversee our lobby operations and serve as our director of first impressions. In this role, you will balance public-facing hospitality with critical administrative workflows, including routing inbound communication and managing office logs. The ideal candidate possesses an approachable demeanor, exceptional organizational skills, and the capacity to multitask calmly under pressure.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Visitor Hospitality: Greet incoming clients, vendors, and guests warmly and direct them to their designated meetings.
- Communication Management: Answer, screen, and intelligently route all incoming multi-line telephone calls.
- Office Security: Maintain visitor sign-in logs, check identification, and distribute visitor badges or temporary security access cards.
- Mail & Logistics: Receive, sort, prioritize, and distribute physical letters, corporate packages, and internal couriers daily.
- Area Maintenance: Ensure the main reception desk and lobby remain clean, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary corporate literature.
- Calendar Coordination: Manage digital meeting room bookings, coordinate department calendars, and arrange basic internal catering.
- Administrative Assistance: Support auxiliary teams with clerical overflow tasks including photocopying, scanning, text transcription, and basic electronic data entry.
- Inventory Control: Monitor workplace supply baselines and systematically coordinate the replenishment of office and kitchen stock.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven professional experience as a front desk representative, receptionist, or similar customer-facing administrative role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in business communication is a distinct plus.
- Technical Savvy: Hands-on proficiency using digital office applications such as Microsoft Office 365 or Google Workspace.
- Hardware Literacy: Comfort operating physical business equipment like telephone consoles, high-volume printers, scanners, and mail postage scales.
- Communication Skills: Superb verbal articulation and a polished, professional written tone for email correspondence.
- Work Ethic: Exceptional time management, strict attention to operational detail, and an unwavering commitment to maintaining strict corporate confidentiality.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
