We are looking for an experienced Electrical Draftsman to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical drawings, cable layouts, load calculations, and BOQs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects of private builders.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare electrical layout drawings using AutoCAD.
* Design cable routing and cable schedules.
* Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations.
* Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and panel schedules.
* Design LT electrical distribution systems.
* Prepare BOQs and material quantity estimates.
* Coordinate with project engineers, architects, consultants, and site teams.
* Revise drawings based on project requirements.
* Ensure compliance with Indian Standards and electrical codes.
Requirements
* Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
* 2–4 years of experience in electrical drafting and design.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD.
* Strong knowledge of electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and LT distribution design.
* Experience working on residential, commercial, and industrial projects for private builders.
* Ability to prepare electrical drawings independently.
* Good knowledge of MS Excel and BOQ preparation.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in HT/LT electrical systems.
* Knowledge of transformer, DG, and electrical panel layouts.
* Familiarity with IS/IEC standards.
