About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Photographer & Photo Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for aesthetics and be passionate about creating premium product visuals.
You will be responsible for photographing our hair extensions, wigs, toppers, and hair accessories, editing images to e-commerce standards, and ensuring every product is presented beautifully across our website, marketplaces, and social media platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Photography
- Capture high-quality images of wigs, hair extensions, toppers, and other hair products.
- Plan and execute product photoshoots with proper lighting, backgrounds, and styling.
- Photograph products from multiple angles to highlight texture, color, density, and craftsmanship.
- Ensure consistency in image quality across all product categories.
- Assist in model and lifestyle shoots whenever required.
Photo Editing & Retouching
- Edit and retouch product images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Perform color correction while maintaining accurate product colors.
- Remove backgrounds and create clean white-background images for e-commerce.
- Enhance images through cropping, retouching, shadow adjustments, and image optimization.
- Deliver web-ready, marketplace-ready, and social media-ready creatives.
Asset Management
- Organize and maintain image libraries.
- Rename, categorize, and archive images systematically.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited images for product launches and marketing campaigns.
Collaboration
- Coordinate with the marketing and e-commerce teams for new product launches.
- Understand brand guidelines and maintain a premium visual identity across all platforms.
- Suggest creative ideas for improving product presentation.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience in product photography and photo editing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing product photography work (beauty, fashion, jewellery, or e-commerce preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
- Basic knowledge of DSLR or Mirrorless cameras, lenses, and studio lighting.
- Understanding of composition, lighting, framing, and color correction.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with beauty, fashion, wigs, hair extensions, or cosmetic products.
- Knowledge of Canva or Adobe Illustrator is an added advantage.
- Basic videography or short-form content creation is a plus.
- Experience in e-commerce image standards for Amazon, Shopify, and other marketplaces.
