In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end editorial processes for assigned social science projects, ensuring they are delivered with high quality, accuracy, and within timelines.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and developing content aligned with curriculum requirements and market trends, ensuring adherence to editorial and quality standards
- Editing and developing content across all stages to ensure it is error-free and of the highest editorial quality
- Ensuring consistency in pedagogy, tone, style, grammar, and overall approach across products
- Estimating project costs, managing budgets, and ensuring cost-effective publication
- Managing project timelines and ensuring timely delivery of books and digital products
- Coordinating with authors, content creators, reviewers, freelancers, and vendors to ensure quality inputs within schedules
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders including editors, designers, sales, marketing, and operations teams
- Providing detailed content inputs related to design, layout, stylesheet, and publishing plans
- Developing and reviewing digital content, including storyboards for animations, games, and interactive modules
- Supporting Sales and Marketing teams with product knowledge, presentations, and training initiatives
- Conducting detailed analysis of competing products
- Preparing and delivering product presentations for internal stakeholders
- Proactively supporting additional and unplanned editorial requirements

- Postgraduate degree in Social Science, preferably History or Geography
- 4–5 years of experience working on education products, across print and digital formats
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of school pedagogy
- Familiarity with editing processes and digital content creation
- Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines
- Experience in developing digital learning assets such as animations and interactive content
- Exposure to curriculum design and competitive product analysis
- Internal: Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams
- External: Authors, freelancers, content partners, and third-party vendors
