Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated VMC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Load and unload components.
- Perform machine setup and tool offset adjustments.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and Height Gauge.
- Ensure product quality as per specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and daily checks.
- Maintain production records and machine logs.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards at the workplace.
Qualifications
- ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience operating VMC machines.
- Knowledge of Fanuc Controller will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
