Senior Project Engineer – Interiors (Projects/Execution)
Experience:
7–9 years of relevant experience in Interior Fit-Out / Residential / Commercial Interior Projects
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Project Engineer – Interiors to manage and execute interior projects from site initiation through final handover. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, coordination with design and production teams, contractor management, quality control, timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered as per approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day interior project execution and site activities.
- Study and interpret architectural, interior, furniture, MEP and working/production drawings.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and design standards.
- Plan and monitor project schedules, milestones and site activities.
- Coordinate with Interior Designers, Architects, Project Managers, Contractors, Vendors and Clients.
- Supervise civil, carpentry, modular furniture, false ceiling, partitions, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing, lighting and other interior works.
- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors, including manpower planning and productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality of workmanship and finishing.
- Identify site issues, technical challenges and execution constraints and provide practical solutions.
- Coordinate with the design team for drawing clarifications and design changes.
- Verify dimensions and site measurements before execution.
- Ensure materials are available at site as per project requirements and schedule.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely material delivery.
- Check material quality and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports, site updates and project documentation.
- Monitor project costs and minimize material wastage and rework.
- Coordinate and monitor snagging, rectification and final handover activities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and discipline at the project site.
- Attend client meetings and provide regular project progress updates.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, measurements, material approvals and site instructions.
- Ensure all works comply with company quality standards and project timelines.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out execution and construction practices.
- Good understanding of civil and finishing works.
- Knowledge of carpentry, modular furniture, false ceiling, partitions, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing and lighting works.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings, working drawings and production drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, measurements, material specifications and quantity verification.
- Strong knowledge of site coordination and contractor management.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel.
- Knowledge of project planning and scheduling tools will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
Preferred Experience
Experience in premium residential interiors, luxury homes, villas, apartments, commercial interiors or high-end interior fit-out projects will be preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
