- SAP BW / BW4HANA — Expertise in data modeling, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, transformations, process chains, and query design.
- SAP HANA — Skilled in building calculation views (both graphical & script-based) and attribute/analytic views following modeling best practices.
- ABAP — Solid foundation in core ABAP development, Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), and ABAP on HANA techniques (such as AMDP and code pushdown).
- HANA SQL / SQLScript — Advanced capabilities in writing complex queries, performance optimization, stored procedures, and table functions.
Candidates must demonstrate deep, practical project experience across all four of these areas. We are seeking a versatile, hands-on, well-rounded professional rather than someone focused on a single component.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, configure, and optimize robust BW/BW4HANA data models, including ADSOs, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views, and InfoObjects.
- Construct advanced calculation views, analytic views, and intricate SQLScript-based logic within native HANA environments.
- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, function modules, and AMDP-driven transformation logic.
- Troubleshoot and tune HANA SQL queries and data models for optimal performance using partitioning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
- Set up and monitor DTPs, transformation rules, and process chains to ensure seamless and reliable data loads.
- Connect BW/HANA outputs with front-end reporting layers like BEx, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar BI solutions.
- Resolve data load errors, address performance bottlenecks, and handle data reconciliation tasks across the full BW/HANA stack.
- Partner with functional units to translate business and reporting requirements into technical data solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical designs, data model documentation, and transformation mapping logic while supporting testing and deployment.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 5 to 8+ years of total SAP development experience, with a heavy emphasis on hands-on BW/BW4HANA, native HANA modeling, and ABAP coding.
- Proven track record of writing performance-critical data logic using HANA SQL and SQLScript.
- Strong familiarity with ABAP on HANA development, including AMDP and code pushdown methods.
Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of BW LSA/LSA++ architecture principles, InfoObjects, transformations, and process chain management.
- Direct experience in native HANA modeling, creating both graphical and script-based calculation views, along with analytic/attribute views.
- Highly proficient in Core ABAP and OOABAP with strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Well-versed in core SQL concepts with the ability to write and optimize sophisticated HANA SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Familiar with extracting data from SAP source systems (ECC/S4HANA) using RFC-based configurations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Good to Have
- Exposure to SAP Datasphere or involvement in SAP BW/4HANA migration and conversion projects.
- Experience integrating data models with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other modern BI tools.
- Understanding of SAP BTP services and OData-based data consumption.
- Familiarity with S/4HANA financial or operational data structures (such as ACDOCA / Universal Journal).

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
