About the Role
We're looking for a Product Designer to join coto and help shape the end-to-end experience of our product. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to turn ideas into intuitive, polished user experiences — from early concept sketches to shipped features.
What You'll Do
- Own the design process for features from discovery through launch: research, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
- Collaborate with product and engineering to scope features and ensure designs are technically feasible and delightful to use
- Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and feedback loops to inform design decisions
- Maintain and evolve our design system/component library for consistency across the product
- Present design rationale and iterate based on stakeholder and user feedback
- Balance speed and craft — ship quickly while maintaining a high bar for quality
- Advocate for the user in product and strategy discussions
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a product designer, ideally at a startup or fast-paced product team
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, not just visual polish
- Proficiency in Figma (or similar design tools) and familiarity with prototyping
- Experience working closely with engineers and understanding of technical constraints
- Strong communication skills — able to explain design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to move fast in a startup environment
- Bonus: experience with user research methods, design systems, or motion/interaction design
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for mobile apps in an AI first environment
- Familiarity with front-end basics to collaborate more fluidly with engineering
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup
Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month
