Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with experience in PHP and Laravel framework to join our development team. The candidate should be capable of building efficient, scalable, and secure web applications while collaborating with frontend developers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using PHP and Laravel
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
- Work with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Manage and optimize databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development
- Strong expertise in:
- Core PHP and Laravel framework
- MVC architecture
- REST API development
- Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic understanding)
- Experience with version control tools (Git)
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of API integration (third-party services)
- Experience with Laravel packages and libraries
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
