Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to promote and sell CNC 4th Axis, 5th Axis Rotary Tables, CNC Machines, and Machine Tool Solutions. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, understanding customer machining requirements, providing technical solutions, and achieving sales targets.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of CNC machining applications, VMC/HMC machines, rotary tables, tooling solutions, and industrial customer handling.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new customers in:
- Automotive industries
- Aerospace industries
- Precision engineering companies
- Die & Mold industries
- General engineering industries
- Generate enquiries for:
- CNC 4th Axis Rotary Tables
- CNC 5th Axis Rotary Tables
- Tilting Rotary Tables
- CNC Machines
- VMC / HMC Machines
- Machine Tool Accessories
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers, dealers, and industrial partners.
Technical Sales Responsibilities
- Understand customer machining requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Study customer components, drawings, and machining processes.
- Provide solutions for:
- Multi-face machining
- Cycle time reduction
- Productivity improvement
- Fixture improvement
- 4th & 5th axis applications
- Coordinate with application engineers for:
- Machining trials
- Component validation
- Demonstrations
- Customer approvals
- Prepare:
- Technical quotations
- Costing proposals
- Comparison sheets
- Application reports
CNC Rotary Table Knowledge Required
Candidate should have knowledge of:
4th Axis Rotary Table
- Servo-driven rotary tables
- Indexing applications
- Continuous machining applications
- Chuck and fixture selection
- Tailstock applications
- CNC integration
5th Axis Rotary Table
- Tilting rotary applications
- Simultaneous 5-axis machining concepts

CNC Machine Sales Responsibilities
- Promote CNC machines such as:
- VMC
- HMC
- CNC Turning Centres
- Special Purpose Machines
- Understand:
- Machine specifications
- Spindle requirements
- Tooling requirements
- Component applications
- Arrange:
- Machine demonstrations
- Customer trials
- Technical meetings
- Follow up with customers from enquiry generation to order closure.
Customer Handling
- Regular customer visits and relationship management.
- Coordinate with:
- Production team
- Design team
- Application team
- Service team
- Management team
- Handle customer feedback and provide solutions.
- Maintain customer database and sales reports.
Sales Reporting
- Daily visit report.
- Weekly enquiry status report.
- Monthly sales forecast.
- Customer follow-up tracking.
- Competitor information.
Qualification
Education:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
- Production Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering preferred
Experience Required
Preferred Experience:
- 3 to 8 years experience in:
- CNC machine tool sales
- Rotary table sales
- Industrial automation sales
- Machine tool accessories sales
Fresh engineers with strong CNC knowledge may also be considered.
Technical Skills
Required:
✔ CNC machining process knowledge
✔ VMC/HMC operation understanding
✔ CNC controller knowledge (Fanuc / Mitsubishi / Siemens / Heidenhain preferred)
✔ Understanding of engineering drawings
