L2 - NOC Engineer (Network Engineer)

Role Overview:
We are looking for an L2 NOC Engineer – Network & Voice to monitor and support network, firewall, and voice infrastructure. The role involves L2 troubleshooting, basic configuration support, Cisco switching and routing operations, VoIP support, and ensuring smooth network operations while meeting SLA requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support network and voice infrastructure including routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Perform L2 troubleshooting for connectivity, firewall access, and voice issues (call failures, one-way audio).
- Support configuration validation and basic changes on network and firewall devices.
- Assist in managing Cisco switches (including Nexus) and firewall policies.
- Perform basic validation and support of Cisco voice environment and SIP-based communication.
- Escalate complex network, firewall, and voice issues to L3 teams.
- Maintain documentation and ensure SLA compliance.
Technical Expertise:
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP, VLAN, routing basics).
- Familiarity with Cisco routing, switching, and Cisco Nexus switches.
- Basic knowledge of Cisco firewall and Check Point firewall concepts.
- Understanding of Cisco Voice / VoIP technologies (SIP, CUCM, gateways, SIP routers).
- Ability to troubleshoot basic network, firewall, and voice issues.
- Exposure to monitoring and ticketing tools.
Certifications (Preferred):
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- CompTIA Network+
- Basic firewall certifications (Fortinet NSE 1–2 / Check Point CCSA – optional)
