The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, driving vehicle sales performance, achieving dealership targets, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. The role involves managing daily sales operations, developing sales strategies, monitoring team performance, and building strong customer relationships to support business growth.
Responsibilities
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Plan and implement sales strategies to increase vehicle sales and market share
Monitor daily sales activities and provide guidance to team members
Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales process
Track sales performance and prepare regular sales reports
Conduct team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, corporate clients, and business partners
Coordinate with finance and insurance teams to support vehicle sales
Manage showroom operations and ensure adherence to company standards
Identify market opportunities and competitor activities to support business growth
Maintain accurate sales records and dealership documentation
Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures
Requirements
Graduate in any discipline
Experience in automobile sales and team management
Strong leadership and team handling skills
Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities
Good knowledge of sales planning and target achievement
Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and achieve business objectives
Candidates with prior experience in the two-wheeler automobile industry will be preferred.
