About Glory Shipmanagement
Glory Shipmanagement is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Legal Advisor to manage and support the company’s legal processes, documentation, contracts, and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day legal matters and processes of the company and provide timely legal advice to management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, contracts, legal notices, and other legal documents.
- Manage and maintain legal records, documentation, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, government authorities, and other legal professionals when required.
- Monitor ongoing legal matters, disputes, claims, and proceedings and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements relevant to the company’s operations.
- Review and advise on contractual and legal risks and recommend appropriate actions to protect the company’s interests.
- Support the management team on legal matters relating to business operations, vendors, employees, and commercial agreements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in legal advisory, corporate legal work, or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of contract drafting, legal documentation, and general corporate legal processes.
- Experience handling legal matters independently and coordinating with external legal counsel.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple legal matters and deadlines.
- Candidates with experience in the maritime, shipping, logistics, or corporate sector will be preferred.
- Candidates residing in or around Vashi / Navi Mumbai, or within a convenient commuting distance from our office, will be preferred.
