We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Engineer to lead execution activities for a High-Rise Residential Project using Mivan (Aluminium Formwork) Technology. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end structural execution, quality control, planning, coordination, and ensuring timely completion of slabs as per defined cycle timelines.
The role demands strong technical expertise in RCC construction, hands-on experience in Mivan shuttering, and the ability to manage large site teams efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Planning
- Execute high-rise residential buildings using Mivan shuttering system.
- Prepare micro-level planning for slab cycles (4–7 days cycle).
- Monitor daily progress as per project schedule.
- Ensure structural work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with Planning team for weekly and monthly targets.
2. Mivan Formwork Management
- Supervise assembly, alignment, leveling, and dismantling of aluminium formwork.
- Ensure proper oiling, cleaning, and maintenance of Mivan panels.
- Monitor wall, slab, beam and staircase casting using Mivan system.
- Check dimensional accuracy and quality before concreting.
- Ensure minimal damage and proper inventory control of formwork material.
3. Quality Control
- Conduct pre and post concreting inspections.
- Ensure cube testing, slump tests, and quality compliance.
- Monitor reinforcement work as per BBS.
- Ensure proper cover blocks, shuttering checks, and line/level checks.
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection reports.
4. Manpower & Contractor Management
- Supervise site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure optimum manpower deployment for slab cycle achievement.
- Conduct daily tool-box meetings and safety briefings.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and execution bottlenecks.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to site safety protocols.
- Monitor working at heights and heavy equipment operations.
- Coordinate with Safety Officer to maintain zero-accident site.
- Ensure compliance with local authority and statutory norms.
6. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural designers, and MEP teams.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and weekly review reports.
- Track material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Assist in billing certification and material reconciliation.
7. Finishing & Handover Support
- Monitor post-structural activities and finishing quality.
- Ensure punch list clearance before handover.
- Coordinate with CRM/Quality team during final inspections.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 7 – 10 years of experience in High-Rise Residential Projects.
- Experience handling 20+ storey structures preferred.
- Strong understanding of RCC, slab cycle planning, and finishing works.
Technical Skills Required
- Expertise in Mivan shuttering system.
- Strong knowledge of RCC structures and high-rise construction.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings.
- Knowledge of BBS, quantity estimation, and material reconciliation.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel for reporting.
