Job Summary
A Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, assisting doctors during treatments and procedures, and ensuring quality nursing care according to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient condition and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors
- Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation
- Assist doctors during procedures and emergencies
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Educate patients and attenders regarding treatment and care plans
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Handle emergency situations and provide basic life support when required
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of patient care areas
Required Skills
- Patient care and monitoring

- BLS/CPR knowledge

Qualification
- GNM / Bachelor of Science in Nursing / Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Valid Nursing Council Registration
Experience
- 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts including night duty
- Ward, ICU, OT, Emergency, or specialty departments
- Fast-paced hospital environment
Shift Timing
- Rotational shifts:
- Morning
- Evening
- Night
- Weekends and emergency duty may be required
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
