About Merloop
Merloop is an early-stage startup building an AI-powered Digital Product Passport platform for EU manufacturers. We help SMEs in textiles, construction, and tyres comply with incoming EU ESPR regulations by 2027. We are based in Germany, currently in the pilot phase.
The role
We are looking for a Marketing Manager based in India to own Merloop's digital presence, content, and demand generation from the ground up. You will work directly with the founder and CEO, with full ownership of the marketing function. The role is remote, with flexible hours that overlap with European time zones.
Your responsibilities
- Build and manage Merloop's presence on LinkedIn, the website, and other relevant channels
- Create content — posts, articles, case studies, newsletters — targeted at EU manufacturers and sustainability decision-makers
- Run outbound email campaigns and support lead generation for the sales pipeline
- Track and report on marketing performance metrics
- Help position Merloop clearly in the DPP and EU compliance market
- Coordinate with the founder on messaging, launches, and partnership announcements
What we are looking for
- 2–4 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in SaaS, tech, or sustainability
- Strong written English — you will be writing for a European professional audience
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn marketing and email campaigns
- Comfortable working independently in a startup environment with minimal oversight
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Canva, or similar
- Knowledge of EU sustainability regulation or ESG is a plus but not required
- Available to overlap with CET time zones for at least 4 hours per day
