Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into compelling narratives that drive engagement and conversions. You’ll be responsible for producing engaging video ads for Meta and Google, UGC-style content, short-form reels, and polished long-form edits. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and love shaping stories through visuals, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-converting short-form video ads for Meta and Google campaigns.
- Create and refine UGC & founder-led videos for maximum relatability.
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and animations for storytelling.
- Enhance with sound design – music, sound effects, audio balancing.
- Edit long-form videos (YouTube, case studies, interviews, brand stories).
- Optimize edits for cross-platform distribution (Meta, Instagram, YouTube, Google, WhatsApp, Website).
- Ensure brand consistency across all video outputs.
- Collaborate with creative strategists, copywriters, and designers on campaign concepts.
- Stay updated on trends, AI editing tools, and storytelling frameworks.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, text animations, transitions, and GIF creation.
- Strong creative storytelling skills tailored to ecommerce audiences.
- Keen eye for detail, pacing, rhythm, and flow.
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
- Bonus: Familiarity with AI-based editing tools and ad creative best practices.
Selection Process
- Introductory Discussion – to understand your creative approach.
- Skill Assessment – task-based video editing assignment.
- Final Interview – discussion on fit and expectations (Virtual/On-campus).
Note
- The final offered salary will be determined based on your performance during the interview stage.
- The offered salary will be a consolidated annual amount, inclusive of a performance-linked variable component, which will be applicable post joining and tied to your role performance.
- Following the release of the offer letter and upon joining, the candidate will be placed on a three-month probation period. Successful completion of this probation will lead to confirmation of the full-time role
