About the Role
We are seeking skilled and responsible Chemical Plant Operators to join our pharmaceutical intermediates manufacturing facility. The selected candidates will be responsible for operating and monitoring chemical process equipment while ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stainless steel reactors, Glass Lined Reactors, Hydrogenators, distillation units, condensers, centrifuges, tray dryers and other process equipment.
- Charge raw materials into reactors as per batch manufacturing records.
- Monitor reaction parameters such as temperature, pressure, vacuum and agitation.
- Perform filtration, distillation, solvent recovery and drying operations.
- Record process data and maintain accurate batch records.
- Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Follow SOPs, GMP requirements and all plant safety procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or process deviations to the production supervisor.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the production area.
- Assist in loading and unloading raw materials and finished products as required.
Qualifications
- ITI (Chemical Process Operator/Fitter) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering preferred.
- B.Sc. Chemistry candidates with relevant plant experience may also apply.
Experience
2–8 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, API, chemical or specialty chemical manufacturing plant
Desired Skills
- Experience operating reactors and other chemical process equipment.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and industrial safety practices.
- Ability to understand batch manufacturing instructions and SOPs.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Pay: From ₹300,000.00 per month
