Site ExecutionExecute civil/structural works as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.2. Drawing & TechnicalStudy drawings, understand dimensions/levels/details, and coordinate with the planning/design team for clarifications.3. Daily Site SupervisionSupervise manpower, subcontractors, materials, tools, and equipment at site. Ensure work is carried out as planned.4. Quality ControlEnsure workmanship complies with specifications and approved quality standards. Coordinate inspections and rectify defects.5. Quantity MeasurementTake measurements of completed works and maintain measurement records for billing and quantity tracking.6. Material ManagementCheck material requirements, coordinate with stores/procurement, and ensure proper utilization and storage of materials.7. Subcontractor ManagementCoordinate with subcontractors, allocate work fronts, monitor productivity, and ensure timely completion.8. Labour ManagementMonitor labour deployment and productivity. Maintain daily manpower records and identify manpower requirements.9. Progress MonitoringCompare actual progress with the approved schedule and immediately report delays or constraints to the Project Manager.10. Safety CoordinationFollow site safety procedures, coordinate with the Safety Officer, and ensure workers use required PPE and follow safe working practices.11. Inspection & TestingCoordinate inspections, concrete works, reinforcement checks, levels, alignment, dimensions, material testing, and other required tests.12. Concrete WorksMonitor reinforcement, shuttering, embedded items, concrete pouring, slump tests, cube sampling, curing, and finishing activities.13. Survey & LevelsCheck line, level, alignment, dimensions, and coordinates in coordination with the surveyor.14. Daily ReportsPrepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), manpower reports, material consumption details, work status, and site photographs.15. CoordinationCoordinate with Project Manager, Planning Engineer, QA/QC Engineer, Safety Officer, Surveyor, Stores, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.16. Billing SupportProvide accurate measurements, quantity details, work completion records, and supporting documents for subcontractor/client billing.17. Site RecordsMaintain approved drawings, inspection requests, checklists, pour cards, test reports, site instructions, and other relevant records.18. Site ProblemsIdentify technical/site constraints and inform the Project Manager promptly with practical solutions.19. HousekeepingEnsure work areas are properly maintained, materials are stacked safely, and construction debris is cleared regularly.20. HandoverAssist in snag identification, rectification, final measurements, testing, documentation, and handover of completed works.Experience-wise expectation
0–1 Year – Trainee / Junior Site Engineer
- Learn drawings and specifications.

1–3 Years – Site Engineer
- Independently supervise assigned work fronts.

- Identify and resolve routine site issues.
3–5 Years – Senior Site Engineer
- Independently handle major portions of the project.
- Plan daily and weekly site activities.
- Control subcontractor productivity.
- Monitor quantities, wastage, quality, and progress.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, QA/QC, Safety and Billing teams.
- Take responsibility for timely completion of assigned works.
- Support the Project Manager in planning and execution decisions.
