Job Description
As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with the sales and business development team to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, engage with potential clients, and support client acquisition activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to B2B sales, market research, client communication, and business strategy within the technology industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients, industries, and market opportunities
- Generate and qualify leads through online research, networking platforms, and other channels
- Assist in outreach activities including emails, LinkedIn communication, and follow-ups
- Support the business development team in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams for solution discussions
- Maintain and update lead databases and CRM records
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market insights
- Participate in client meetings and business development discussions
- Help improve lead generation and sales processes
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, IT, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of sales, marketing, or software solutions is a plus
- Comfortable with research, outreach, and client interactions
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take ownership
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of LinkedIn, email outreach, and lead generation tools
- Familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage
- Interest in technology, SaaS, software development, or digital solutions
