We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Decision Intelligence team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in data analysis, Power BI, DAX, and data visualization to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. You will work with complex datasets across our customer-facing business functions at Dayforce, developing metrics and uncovering trends and opportunities that drive business performance.
What you’ll get to do
Develops and maintains enterprise reports, dashboards, and data products using Power BI, DAX, and Microsoft Data Studio / SSMS, with a focus on Customer Operations (Support , Managed ,Tax) & Customer Success.
Knowledge & Skills of AI and ML capabilities. Can provide cases for the implementation of such tools to forecast and improve operational efficiency.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python
Acts as a Data SME for assigned business function(s), partnering with stakeholders to understand data requirements, definitions, sources, and KPIs to enable effective reporting and analytics.
Collaborates with teams to align business requirements with data and analytical solutions, empowering them to draw insights and optimize Customer Operations & Customer Success strategies.
Build and optimize data models, including star schemas, to support reporting and analytics needs across Customer Operations & Customer Success strategies.
Collaborates with Data Engineers and Integration Engineers to deliver robust and scalable data solutions tailored to analytics needs.
Coordinates with the Data Governance and Enablement team to ensure data quality, compliance, and efficacy in datasets and reporting.
Creates comprehensive data documentation, including business requirements documents, process flows, field mappings, and calculation definitions.
Continuously enhances and optimizes existing data models, analytics pipelines, and reporting frameworks for improved efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Stays up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis, visualization, and Customer Operations & Customer Success analytics to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Skills and experience we value
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
Minimum 5 years in Power BI / DAX development for data visualization and reporting.
3+ year in developing Customer Operations (Support, Managed ,Tax) or Customer Success specific analytics.
Strong SQL querying skills and experience with data wrangling tools.
Strong analytic skills with a record of turning data into actionable insight for business.
Knowledge of applying AI and ML techniques for data analysis.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Should have worked in projects where they have analyzed Customer Success or Customer Support data
