Job Description: Associate Professor
M.Sc. (Digital Healthcare Systems & Management)
Position Overview
The Associate Professor will play a key academic leadership role in delivering, developing, and
advancing the M.Sc. (Digital Healthcare Systems & Management) programme. The role
includes teaching, research, curriculum development, industry collaboration, and mentoring
students in digital health, healthcare analytics, and healthcare systems management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic & Teaching
a. Teach postgraduate courses in areas such as:
i. Health Informatics
ii. Healthcare Analytics & AI
iii. Hospital Information Systems
iv. Digital Health Transformation
v. Healthcare Operations & Quality
b. Develop course materials, case studies, and digital health lab exercises.
c. Supervise student dissertations, capstone projects, and internships.
d. Ensure high standards of teaching-learning processes.
2. Research & Scholarly Activities
a. Conduct research in areas such as:
i. Digital health systems
ii. Healthcare analytics
iii. AI in healthcare
iv. Healthcare operations and quality
b. Publish research papers in reputed journals and conferences.
c. Apply for funded research projects and grants.
d. Guide students in research and innovation projects.
3. Curriculum & Programme Development
a. Contribute to curriculum design and continuous improvement aligned with industry trends.
b. Introduce new courses and electives based on emerging technologies in healthcare.
c. Support accreditation and academic quality assurance processes.
4. Industry Engagement
a. Develop collaborations with hospitals, healthcare IT companies, and consulting firms.
b. Facilitate internships, live projects, and guest lectures.
c. Participate in advisory boards and industry forums
5. Academic Leadership & Administration
a. Mentor junior faculty and support academic planning.
b. Participate in Board of Studies, Academic Council activities.
c. Support programme expansion (executive courses, certifications).
Qualifications (as per UGC norms)
- Ph.D. in Healthcare Informatics / Digital Health / Health Management / Computer
Science / Data Science / Biomedical Engineering / related field
- Minimum 8+ years of teaching/research/industry experience
- Strong publication record in reputed journals

Base Location: Bhubaneshwar, Odissa
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
