Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Work Location: Ahmedabad (On-site)
This position requires in-person work in Ahmedabad. Only candidates who are currently based in Ahmedabad or nearby areas and can attend office regularly should apply.
Job Summary:
Primary Responsibility
- Inspect incoming raw materials, castings, and bought-out items as per engineering drawings and standards.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Incoming Inspection.
- Report non-conformities and record inspection data using a tablet PC.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and components.
- Verify supplier documentation, including COA (Certificate of Analysis), COC (Certificate of Conformance), and test reports.
- Use measuring tools and equipment to assess product compliance with specifications.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Identify, report, and segregate non-conforming materials.
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and supplier quality teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and procedures.

Education
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering
Experience
- 0–1 year in Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
- Knowledge of material standards, basic GD&T, and digital reporting
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards is a plus
Tools & Equipment Familiarity
- Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauges, and other inspection tools

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
