Role Overview
We are hiring an MIS professional to build and implement the company’s MIS system from the ground up. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will work directly with leadership to create reporting structures, streamline data flow, and bring clarity across operations, sales, inventory, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
1. MIS Setup & Implementation
- Design and build the entire MIS framework from scratch.
- Develop structured reporting systems for sales, production, inventory, and finance.
- Standardize data collection, formatting, and reporting across departments.
2. Reporting & Analysis
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Develop dashboards and trackers for key business metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and actionable insights.
3. System & Process Development
- Implement and manage Microsoft-based systems (Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
- Automate reports and workflows wherever possible.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with production, sales, accounts, and management teams.
- Train team members on MIS processes and data entry standards.
- Act as the central point for all reporting and data-related requirements.
5. Data Management & Governance
- Maintain organized databases and records.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Continuously improve systems for better efficiency and usability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MIS / data reporting roles.
- Experience in building MIS systems from scratch is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced), reporting tools, and data handling.
- Prior experience in manufacturing / industrial setup is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with managing small-scale Microsoft-based systems/setup.
- Highly detail-oriented, structured thinker, and problem-solver.
- Comfortable working closely with leadership in a hands-on role.
