Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Engineer to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will improve production efficiency, ensure product quality, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and optimize daily production activities.
- Analyze production processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste and downtime.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams.
- Prepare production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Track production KPIs such as OEE, cycle time, yield, rejection rate, and downtime.
- Prepare production reports and present performance metrics to management.
- Support new product introduction and process validation.
- Train operators on production procedures and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level roles).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen principles.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, SPC, and CAPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Pay: ₹45,287.28 - ₹50,573.22 per month
