Position Overview
The Asset Care Executive for Instrumentation & Automation plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of automation systems and instrumentation used in the brewery beer industry. This position involves maintaining and improving equipment, implementing preventive maintenance strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and automation equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to control systems, sensors, and other instrumentation.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for system upgrades and modifications.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance audits.
- Prepare reports and present findings to management.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in instrumentation and automation within the brewery or food and beverage industry.
- Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation protocols.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software.
