Job Summary
The Dispatch Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the dispatch of finished PEB materials to project sites. The role ensures timely deliveries, proper documentation, vehicle planning, loading supervision, customer coordination, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan daily dispatch schedules based on production readiness and customer delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, and Logistics teams for smooth dispatch operations.
- Ensure all finished materials are inspected and approved before dispatch.
- Verify dispatch documents such as Delivery Challans, E-Way Bills, Tax Invoices, Packing Lists, and Transport Documents.
- Arrange transport vehicles and coordinate with transporters for timely loading and delivery.
- Supervise loading activities to ensure correct material quantity, identification, and safe loading practices.
- Monitor vehicle movement and ensure on-time delivery to project sites.
- Resolve dispatch-related issues, transportation delays, and customer delivery concerns.
- Maintain dispatch records, transporter details, vehicle logs, and proof of delivery.
- Ensure proper packing, labeling, and material protection during transportation.
- Coordinate with project sites regarding delivery schedules and unloading requirements.
- Monitor dispatch costs and optimize transportation expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, road transport regulations, and safety procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports and MIS.
- Lead and supervise dispatch staff, loading supervisors, and dispatch coordinators.
- Support inventory reconciliation and stock verification with Stores.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related field.
- Additional certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in Dispatch, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the PEB, Structural Steel, Heavy Fabrication, or Engineering Manufacturing industry.
- Experience in handling oversized steel structures and project-based dispatches is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of dispatch and logistics operations.
- Good understanding of PEB materials, structural steel components, and packing methods.
- Knowledge of transport planning and route management.
- Familiarity with E-Way Bills, GST documentation, invoices, and delivery documentation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
