Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst with strong expertise in application security, web application firewalls (WAF), and network security technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with F5 ASM, Shape Security, and WAF solutions, along with a deep understanding of application-layer security, network protocols, incident response, and security automation.
This role involves securing critical applications and infrastructure, conducting security assessments, responding to security incidents, and implementing proactive measures to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, deploy, and manage F5 ASM, Shape Security, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions to protect critical business applications.
Conduct comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and risk evaluations of web applications and network infrastructure.
Apply advanced knowledge of HTTP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, DNS, and related protocols to troubleshoot and enhance application and network security.
Develop and maintain security automation scripts and tools using Python to improve operational efficiency and incident response.
Perform deep packet inspection, traffic analysis, and forensic investigations to identify and mitigate security threats and incidents.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, providing recommendations to improve security controls.
Maintain and update security policies, procedures, technical documentation, and incident reports.
Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and risk management activities.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to junior team members and stakeholders.
Participate in incident response activities, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity, or Information Security.
Strong hands-on experience with F5 ASM, Shape Security, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies.
Expertise in configuring security policies, rules, and application protection mechanisms.
Strong understanding of HTTP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, DNS, networking concepts, and the TCP/IP stack.
Experience in application-layer security, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Proficiency in Python scripting for security automation, analysis, and operational tasks.
Experience with packet capture, network traffic analysis, and forensic investigation tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, Security+, or equivalent.
Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, and security monitoring platforms.
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, application security testing, and secure coding practices.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts and modern cybersecurity frameworks.
Experience working in enterprise-scale environments with critical security requirements.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
