We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Kakkanad, Kochi. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the service industry and possess strong accounting, financial reporting, and bookkeeping skills. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting the company's financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain purchase, sales, payment, and receipt records.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and expense reports.
- Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Process vendor payments and follow up on receivables.
- Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support management by preparing financial reports and MIS as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar accounting role.
- Experience in the Service Industry is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Candidates residing in or around Kakkanad will be given preference.
