CT & X-Ray Technician
Qualification
- Diploma or B.Sc. in Radiography / Medical Imaging Technology.
- Valid registration with the applicable State Paramedical Council (if required).
- Certification in CT imaging is an added advantage.
Experience
- 0–2 years: Junior CT & X-Ray Technician.
- 2–5 years: Experience in independently handling CT and X-ray procedures in a hospital setting.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CT scan and X-ray procedures as prescribed by the radiologist.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media for CT scans under medical supervision, when required.
- Ensure radiation safety for patients, attendants, and staff.
- Operate, maintain, and perform routine checks on CT and X-ray equipment.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following standard imaging protocols.
- Assist radiologists during special imaging procedures.
- Maintain patient records and imaging data in the Hospital Information System (HIS) and PACS.
- Follow infection control, quality, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other departments for timely patient care.
Skills Required
- Good knowledge of CT and X-ray imaging techniques.
- Understanding of radiation safety and protection protocols.
- Ability to handle emergency and critical care patients.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with HIS/RIS/PACS systems.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in multispecialty or NABH-accredited hospitals.
- Familiarity with digital radiography (DR), CT scanners, and contrast imaging procedures.
- Ability to work rotational shifts and handle emergency cases.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹35,073.44 per month
Work Location: In person
