You will be the face of our company to customers, dealers, and channel partners across Bangalore and Karnataka — building deep relationships while relentlessly growing revenue. We want someone who is obsessed with winning, energised by customers, and always two steps ahead.
- Identify and generate leads through direct outreach, cold calling, personal visits, website, IndiaMART, exhibitions, social media, advertisements, trade shows, market research, and employee referrals.
- Handle inward enquiries — understand customer requirements and qualify the lead.
- If the lead qualifies, deliver a compelling company presentation to the prospect.
- Understand technical and product requirements from the customer before advancing.
- Update all leads in CRM with complete details: name, address, bank details, payment terms, and credit terms.
- Convert qualified leads into opportunities and update in CRM.
- Take technical approval for product demo / programming where required.
- If the product is approved by the customer, move the lead to an opportunity and then to RFQ stage.
- Manage the full sales cycle through to order closure.
- In case of opportunity loss, promptly inform the respective stakeholders (Commercial Management, Technical / R&D).
- Submit product samples if required by the customer.
- Follow up on payments based on agreed terms
- Update meetings, visits, and expenses in CRM
- Plan and execute daily customer visits
- Participate in review meetings with updated data
- Gather data on available opportunities, competitive environment, competitor activities, and market developments across Bangalore and Karnataka.
- Keep an eye on new developments in the market — especially in electronics, manufacturing, and automation — which can impact the business.
- Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing customers and develop new customers.
- Handle customer complaints proactively and resolve issues at the earliest.
- Seek customer feedback regularly and ensure ongoing improvement in handling customers effectively.
- Liaise with Sales Head for business plan and strategy reviews.
- Work with Product Management for market feedback and competitor product inputs.
- Coordinate with Application Engineers for field support on technical demos and installations.
- Engage Warehouse & Logistics for direct customer order execution.
- Work with Customer Quality for warranty claims and field return management.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering for product specification clarity and inputs.
